(Columbia, SC) -- A Department of Health and Environmental Control employee is recovering after being stabbed in Columbia yesterday.
Police say it happened at a gas station on the corner of Main Street and Elmwood Avenue, but DHEC says that is not accurate. Still, the agency says it did not happen at DHEC headquarters.
Police have made an arrest in the stabbing and DHEC says their employee is "doing well."
