Proposed Bill Would Stop Employers From Requiring COVID-19 Vaccine

(Columbia, SC) -- South Carolina lawmakers are considering a bill that would stop employers from mandating employees to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

Senator Tom Corbin of Greenville introduced a bill that would make all coronavirus vaccines voluntary in the Palmetto State. He says this is not part of an anti-vax effort, but instead works to ensure personal freedoms are protected.

He hopes the bill will pass out of committee in the next few weeks.
