(Lexington, SC) -- A state trooper is out of a job after allegedly assaulting a man in Lexington.Â
John Paul Batista allegedly grabbed a man by the neck, slammed him into a truck, and pointed a knife at him. The accusations stem from an incident on Riglaw Circle off Platt Springs Road Friday night.Â
Batista has been fired and is charged with aggravated assault and vandalism.
