Date Set For Dylann Roof Death Sentence Appeal

(Charleston, SC) -- Lawyers for Dylann Roof will try and get his death sentence overturned. 

Oral arguments will be presented to a Circuit Court of Appeals on May 25th. 

Roof was convicted of 33 felonies for the death of nine people at Mother Emmanuel AME Church in Charleston in 2015. 

The killings are believed to be motivated by racism.
