McMaster Signs Law Requiring Five-Day In-Person Learning

(Columbia, SC) -- All South Carolina school districts must offer in-person learning five days a week starting next week.

Governor McMaster signed a bill into law to enact the in-person instruction requirement yesterday.

The South Carolina Department of Education says only three school districts in the state are not already offering five-day in-person learning, including Greenville County.

Those districts were planning to bring students back to classrooms Monday even before the bill became law.
