GOP Lawmakers Think Open Carry With Training Act Can Still Pass

(Columbia, SC) -- Republican lawmakers in South Carolina say there's still time to pass the Open Carry with Training Act.

The bill would allow anyone with a concealed weapon permit to show their firearm openly in public.

So far, 28 amendments have been proposed to the bill, with less than a week left in the current legislative session.

Governor McMaster has previously said he would sign the bill if it is passed.
