Lexington-Richland School District Five No Longer Dropping Mask Mandate

Lexington-Richland School District Five is no longer dropping its mask mandate.

Members of the Board of Trustees voted earlier this week to do away with the policy that has required students to wear face coverings since August of 2020. Two days after that vote, their attorney advised against making masks optional starting Monday.

The issue now remains on hold until the next meeting.
