Vax Site In Columbia Changing To Johnson & Johnson Vaccine

(Columbia, SC) -- The Community Vaccination Center in Columbia is changing which COVID-19 vaccine it will offer.

The FEMA-supported clinic at the Columbia Place Mall will begin administering the Johnson & Johnson vaccine today. For the first six weeks, it was using the Pfizer vaccine.

The change means vaccinations at the site are now only available for those 18 and older, but only one shot is needed.

That could help boost full vaccination rates in the state.
