Over 600,000 South Carolinians To Travel For July 4th Weekend

(Columbia, SC) -- More than 600-thousand South Carolina residents will hit the road Fourth of July weekend.

Triple-A says the number of travelers is expected to be up 35-percent over last year's numbers.

The motor club says over 47-million Americans are planning to travel.

But driving will not come without a cost as gas prices are expected to be the most expensive for the holiday weekend since 2014.
