(Spartanburg County, SC) -- Police are investigating after a deputy and two Spartanburg Water workers were shot.
It happened at Fairgrounds Road and Howard Street near Cleveland Park Thursday afternoon.
Officials say a man walked up to a crew working on a sewer main repair, asked them what they were doing, and started shooting.
The deputy is expected to make a full recovery, but the condition of the Spartanburg Water employees has not been released.
