Gov. McMaster Seeking To Block Door To Door Vaccination Efforts

(Columbia, SC) -- Governor McMaster is working to prevent door-to-door COVID-19 vaccine information.

The governor is asking South Carolina's Board of Health and Environmental Control to prevent health care workers from administering vaccines or talking to people about them door-to-door.

This comes as the White House announced plans to have community leaders visit areas with low vaccination rates to answer questions and encourage people to get vaccinated.

Press Secretary Jen Psaki says the effort would not include federal employees going door-to-door.
