Groups Speak Out Six Years After Confederate Flag Removed From State House

(Columbia, SC) -- Two groups are speaking out six years after the Confederate battle flag was removed from the South Carolina state House grounds.

Flags Cross the South held a rally on the north steps on Saturday.

Those protesting the flag's removal stayed inside of police barricades, with supporters of the decision gathering nearby.

After the demonstration, the Columbia Racial Justice Coalition held a flag removal celebration in the afternoon.
