CPD Officer Off Patrol Duties Over Three Percenters Sticker

(Columbia, SC) -- A Columbia Police officer is no longer on patrol after an anti-government sticker was found on their personal vehicle.

The department says the officer had a Three Percenters sticker, a group labeled as a terrorist entity by Canada and described as part of the militia movement by the Anti-Defamation League.

Someone made a complaint about the sticker, and the officer voluntarily removed it.

The officer is now on administrative duty while the department's office of professional standards reviews the situation.
