(Richland County, SC) -- Two Richland County residents are suing over the road maintenance fee.
The county currently collects county road maintenance funds in 20-dollar increments during vehicle registration.
The lawsuit asks a judge to make that fee invalid and to refund those with vehicles registered in the county.
The Richland County Council will have a special meeting today to review the fee and the lawsuit in executive session.
