South Carolina State University Pushing Back Fall Semester Start Date

(Orangeburg, SC) -- South Carolina State University is postponing their fall semester.

Instead of classes starting on August 18th, they will begin August 23rd. School officials say the additional time will help them to determine COVID-19 protocols for campus safety.

The University is already requiring students who live on campus to get tested for COVID-19 on a weekly basis.
