(Columbia, SC) -- Mask mandates are being implemented in Columbia and West Columbia.
The City of Columbia unanimously supported a 30-day mandate that goes into effect immediately. Those who do not wear a mask indoors in public places could be fined up to 100-dollars.
West Columbia's City Council also voted in favor of a 30-day mask mandate, and the Council will hold meetings virtually for the next 60 days.
