Columbia Mayoral Race Headed To Runoff

(Columbia, SC) -- The Columbia mayoral race is headed to a runoff.

Yesterday's election results didn't give any of the four contenders enough of an advantage to name a winner.

Unofficial results show City Councilman Daniel Rickenmann with 43-and a half-percent of the vote total while City Councilwoman Tameika Isaac Devine got 30-point-two percent to hold down second place.

Rickenmann and Devine will contend for the Mayor's office in a runoff election scheduled for November 16th.
