USGS Confirms Earthquake In Centerville

(Centerville, SC) -- The U.S. Geological Survey is confirming an earthquake in South Carolina. 

It happened around 6:30 Tuesday evening in the town of Centerville. 

The USGS says it was a magnitude 1.5 quake at a depth of 2.3 miles. 

This is the latest earthquake to be reported in South Carolina in recent months.
