(Kershaw County, SC) -- The Sheriff of Kershaw County and a former deputy are facing a new lawsuit.
It accuses former Kershaw County Sheriff's Deputy Johnathan Goldsmith of attacking a handcuffed man during a traffic stop.
The lawsuit also alleges that Sheriff Lee Boan knew about Goldsmith's behavior and did not correct it.
This is not the first lawsuit against them, the first stemmed from an incident in October of 2020 and resulted in Goldsmith being fired and arrested.
