(Charleston, SC) -- The South Carolina State Grand Jury is issuing seven new indictments against Alex Murdaugh.
That means the former lawyer now faces 21 charges - nine counts of breach of trust with fraudulent intent, seven counts of computer crimes, four counts of money laundering and one count of forgery.
The indictments are over alleged defrauding schemes that, combined with indictments from November, total over six-million dollars.
A virtual bond hearing scheduled for Murdaugh today is being rescheduled in light of the new charges.
