(Columbia, SC) -- A bill that would legalize sports betting in South Carolina is being filed.
Representative Todd Rutherford of Richland County filed the bill that would also include horse racing, card and dice games, and electronic gaming devices.
Supporters say legal betting would generate 40-million-dollars a year for the state.
