Two South Carolina State University Students Killed In Orangeburg Crash

(Orangeburg, SC) - Two South Carolina State University students are dead after a crash in Orangeburg. 

It happened early Friday morning when a car traveling at a high rate of speed failed to stop for blue lights then hit another car at a nearby intersection. 

Junior Shemyia T. Riley of Greenville and recent graduate Zeleria Simpson of Charleston were killed. 

Three other students were injured. The Lexington County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
