Gov. McMaster Files For Re-Election, Dem Challenger Sen. McLeod Also Files

Governor Henry McMaster is officially launching his bid for re-election.

The incumbent governor filed on the first day of the two-week filing period Wednesday. If McMaster is re-elected and serves another entire term, he would become the longest-serving governor in the state's history.

Democratic challenger Senator Mia McLeod also filed Wednesday, but Democrat Joe Cunningham, a former congressman, has not filed yet.
