(Columbia, SC) -A risk of severe weather is leading to some school districts dismissing early today.
The Midlands could see high winds, heavy rain, and the possibility of isolated tornadoes from the early afternoon to the early evening.
Among the schools dismissing early today are Lexington School District 2 and 3, Newberry County Schools, and Orangeburg School District.
Sumter School District along with Richland Districts 1 and 2 are also planning an early dismissal.
