(Richland County, SC)-- A student is in custody after a gun was found at a Richland County school.
Administrators found a loaded handgun in a student's car at Lower Richland High School on Monday morning.
The 15-year-old is being charged with carrying a firearm on school grounds, unlawful carry, and possession of a pistol under 18.
Police say no threats were made to students or staff.
