State Officials Warn Residents As 2022 Hurricane Season Begins

(Columbia, SC) --State officials are urging residents to prepare for the 2022 hurricane season. 

Governor McMaster toured Beaufort, Charleston, and Horry Counties on Friday as NOAA forecasters expect an above-average Atlantic hurricane season. 

South Carolina's Emergency Management Division officials say hurricane activity in South Carolina is "almost certain".

State residents are asked to remember their evacuation zone, prepare their homes for storms, and know their evacuation route.
