(Columbia, SC) --State Superintendent Molly Spearman will make an official endorsement today.
Spearman is holding three news conferences in support of former teacher Kathy Maness.
The first is in Columbia at 10 a.m. followed by a Charleston area event at 12:45 p.m., and a Horry County announcement at 3 p.m.
Maness is one of six Republican candidates running for the state superintendent role in the June 14th primary.
