DHEC Preorders Kids' Vaccines, No Start Date Announced

(Columbia, SC) -- The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control is rolling out their plan to vaccinate the youngest children in the state. 

The CDC approved Pfizer and Moderna vaccines for kids ages six months to five years.

 DHEC has pre-ordered over 27-thousand doses, which are expected to arrive later this week. 

An exact start date for the vaccinations has not yet been announced.
