(Washington, D.C.)-- A woman who has served as a federal judge on South Carolina's District Court for over a decade is being confirmed for a federal court position.
The U.S. Senate confirmed Michelle Childs' nomination to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit Tuesday.
This comes after Childs made the shortlist of Supreme Court candidates being considered by President Biden earlier this year.
