(Columbia, SC) -- A Columbia judge is being nominated to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
President Biden announced DeAndrea Benjamin as a nominee on Tuesday. She's served as a judge on the South Carolina Fifth Judicial Circuit since 2011.
She also has previous experience as a municipal court judge in Columbia and as an Assistant Attorney General and Assistant Solicitor.
