The Gamecocks broke that dreaded blue streak...Carolina beat Kentucky, 24-7, Saturday night. That stopped the Wildcats' five-game win streak in the series. Gamecocks coach Will Muschamp watched his team bulldoze past the 'Cats with 247 yards of rushing, with two 100-yard rushers (Tavien Feaster and Rico Dowdle). Muschamp says Dowdle's ankle injury didn't appear to be serious and the Gamecock running back should be able to practice later this week. Carolina's off Saturday...they'll visit third-ranked Georgia on October 12.
