Habitat for Humanity, an organization with a world-wide footprint continues the work of it's founder, giving those in need the opportunity to live the American Dream and becoming homeowners.
There are many misconceptions about the Habitat program, including the fact that homeowners are not GIVEN their home. They must go to classes, the job-site, and even then carry a mortgage.
