Eclipse Day Is Here!

Parts of South Carolina will experience a total solar eclipse today. Areas northeast and southeast of Columbia will be able to see the Moon entirely cover the Sun and view just the Sun's corona. 

The eclipse with begin just after 1:00 this afternoon. The total eclipse will last between one- and-three minutes. 

Here in the Midlands, the total eclipse begins at 2:41pm and last about 2 ½ minutes. The phenomenon will end just after 4:00.
