Alan Wilson Seeking Ban Of Sanctuary Cities

(Columbia, SC)  --  South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson is seeking to ban all so-called "sanctuary cities."

His office announced yesterday that he is joining a coalition of officials from seven other states that are calling for a crackdown on communities that seek to protect undocumented immigrants from fear of immediate deportation.

Wilson said the effort, that includes leaders from states like West Virginia and Alabama, will also help deter crime.
