(Columbia, SC) -- An energy company could be pulling the plug on a deal to buy SCANA.
Dominion Energy yesterday warned state lawmakers it would withdraw its offer to buy the company if the legislature cuts customers' bills.
The state senate last night moved closer to doing exactly that, though, when it voted to temporarily cut SCE-and-G's bills by 13 percent.
That vote could be finalized today before the proposal goes to the House and then possibly the governor.
