(Columbia, SC) -- A Richland County official who has clashed with county leaders is now out of a job.
The county council, last night, in a 6-5 vote, fired County Administrator Gerald Seals.
Seals has been administrator for about a year and a half after holding similar jobs in Greenville County as well as cities in Oregon, Ohio and Illinois.
"The State" reports Seals was not at last night's meeting, and no details were given as to why he was fired.
