(Columbia, SC) -- A Richland County official is accusing her colleagues of staging a coup.
That's what County Council Chairwoman Joyce Dickerson said this week as council members voted suddenly to fire Administrator Gerald Seals.
Councilman Norman Jackson pushed for the vote that Dickerson says was motivated by personal things.
Jackson denies firing Seals was a coup, and he told WIS yesterday Seals was a poor leader who relied on fear and intimidation.
