(Saluda County, SC) -- A deputy who died in the line of duty is being remembered for his devotion to service.
A memorial service was held yesterday for Saluda County Deputy Dale Hallman. The 29-year-old was killed last week after a crash while pursuing a suspect.
In addition to being a deputy in the community he grew up in, Hallman was also a volunteer firefighter, and he was once awarded the Medal of Valor.
