(Columbia, SC) -- A construction worker is dead after a crash in Richland County.
It happened yesterday morning in Columbia on I-77 South at Mile Marker 27.
The county coroner says Indiana 40-year-old Nathaniel Deaton was on a piece of road construction equipment when he was hit by a tractor trailer.
Deaton died at the scene, and no charges have been announced.
