(Cayce, SC) -- A man is dead after his body was found in the Congaree River.
The body was pulled from the river yesterday afternoon near the Blossom Street Bridge. Part of the Cayce Riverwalk was closed for a couple hours as the body was pulled out of the water.
The Lexington County Coroner has identified the victim as 50 year old Thomas Wright of Sumter. An autopsy is scheduled for today.
