(Eutawville, SC) -- An Orangeburg County man whose livelihood was taken away from him in a robbery has reason to smile.
Eutawville's Bill Watkins has been a sign installer for 75 years, but his van and lift were recently stolen.
Both were found Wednesday night, but the van's engine was broken, so a man named March Chase, who doesn't even know the 89-year-old Watkins, bought a van and donated it to him.
Chase tells News 19 he wanted to set an example for his daughter, and he hopes his small gesture catches fire.
