(Columbia, SC) -- SCANA is a step closer to being sold.
The utility's shareholders voted yesterday to approve selling to Virginia's Dominion Energy.
The sale still has to be approved by regulators in both Carolinas before it becomes final.
The shareholders also took a non-binding vote to deny more than 100-million dollars in severance pay to SCANA executives.
