(Aiken, SC) -- A woman who once ran for Congress is now a murder suspect.
Aiken County deputies announced yesterday that Kellie Collins was taken into custody this week for killing Curt Cain at his home on Old Powderhouse Road.
The 41-year-old Cain was treasurer for Collins' brief and failed campaign for a Georgia congressional seat this year.
Collins' campaign manager tells the Augusta Chronicle that Collins and Cain were living together, but he says he knew of no problems between them.
