Governor Henry McMaster recently made his first digital ad buy ahead of November's election against Democrat James Smith.
The first ad launched yesterday, and it criticizes Smith for walking out of a vote to cut rates for SCE-and-G customers.
Smith's campaign tells The State the ad is dishonest and misleading.
