(Anderson, SC) -- The family of a boy killed in an Anderson County school shooting claims the district is responsible for his death.
Six-year-old Jacob Hall was killed in the shooting two years ago at his elementary school in Townville, and his family filed a wrongful death suit last week against District Four and the sheriff's office.
They claim the district is at fault for not training employees on how to handle an active-shooter situation and for not having lifesaving supplies on hand.
The family says it hopes the lawsuit will lead to changes that can save lives.
