(Columbia, SC) -- South Carolina legislators are asking teachers what changes need to be made to help with the teacher shortage crisis.
Every educator who spoke at the Senate panel hearing yesterday said endless student testing was a big issue.
They also advocated for a five-percent salary increase. Another hearing will be held before legislation is drafted.
