(Washington, DC) -- Democrats need to put their hatred for President Trump aside for the good of the country.
That's what Republican Senator Tim Scott said yesterday after an attempt to end the government shutdown failed.
Scott tweeted that Democrats need to remember they have voted for barriers along the border in the past.
He also says the shutdown isn't about Trump, but it's about the hundreds of thousands of hard-working Americans in the lurch.
