(Columbia, SC) -- Former residents of an evacuated public housing complex now have what's described as a safe space to report complaints.
Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook announced yesterday the formation of a phone tip line for those who lived at Allen Benedict Court, where two residents died last month of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Holbrook also announced yesterday that the federal government is now involved in the case.
Investigators from the Department of Housing and Urban Development were in Columbia yesterday.
