(Cayce, SC) -- A teacher's aide and former football star is facing charges after a dress code discussion turned violent in Cayce.
Sixty-year-old Willie Scott was arrested yesterday for choking a student until the 18-year-old lost consciousness at Brookland-Cayce High School.
Police say it happened last week when another teacher was talking to the student about the dress code.
Scott played in the NFL after playing at USC, and he was an assistant football coach at the high school.
