(Lexington, SC) -- Lexington Middle School is closer to getting a new home.
Lexington School District One board members have approved the purchase of four land parcels that could be home to the new school.
Officials are considering building the school near Old Cherokee Road and Cherokee Trail. The new school could open by the 2021-22 school year.
